TERMS OF SERVICE

Overview
These terms govern use of chicagodigitech.com and any photo editing or digital imaging services provided by Matt Salo / Chicago Digi Tech.
Services
Chicago Digi Tech provides photo editing and digital imaging technician services. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are agreed upon per order.
Payment
- Payment is required in full before work begins
- Orders are not started until payment is confirmed
- Accepted via Stripe (credit/debit card)
- Prices are as listed on the website at time of order; custom quotes supersede listed prices
Revisions
- One round of revisions is included with every editing order
- Revisions must be requested within 7 days of delivery
- Additional revision rounds are billed at $70/hour
- Revision requests must be specific. General dissatisfaction without specific direction does not constitute a valid revision request
Refunds
- No refunds once editing work has begun
- If work has not yet started, a full refund will be issued upon request
- If delivered work materially fails to match the agreed style brief, we will revise at no charge
Turnaround
- Standard turnaround is 48 hours from receipt of all files and confirmed payment
- Rush turnaround (24 hours) is subject to availability and requires prior confirmation
- Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees; we will notify you promptly of any delays
File Responsibility
- Clients are responsible for providing adequate file backups before submission
- Chicago Digi Tech is not liable for file loss during transfer
- Delivered files should be downloaded and backed up by the client promptly
- We retain files for 30 days post-delivery, after which they may be deleted without notice
Intellectual Property
- Clients retain full ownership of all submitted and delivered photos
- Chicago Digi Tech may use anonymized before/after examples for portfolio purposes unless client opts out in writing
- By submitting files, you confirm that you own or hold the rights to all submitted material. Chicago Digi Tech accepts no liability for editing or handling files that infringe on third-party copyrights. Any legal claims arising from submitted files are solely the responsibility of the client.
- Chicago Digi Tech reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order if there is reasonable cause to believe submitted files are not owned by the client.
Limitation of Liability
Chicago Digi Tech's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
